Shawn,
I'm thus far terrifically interested in what you have to say regarding supplementation. I was curious if you had any opinion of Human Growth Hormone. I seem to read much about it and wondered if you might have a more unadulterated perspective.

Jack,
Opinion... well, heck, I can always muster one of those.
I think I read this comment somewhere but it stuck with me:
"If a 20 year old had the same GH (really IGF-1) levels as a 50 year old man, they'd treat him immediately for a life threatening illness. But there's some mindset, call it complacency or acceptance that says that to be on the path to dying, to living a life of 'OK-ness' is supposed to happen. It's the dreaded word 'normal.'"
When ever you hear someone use the term "that's normal" run like hell.
Thus, simply stated, moderate, intelligent maintance of critical growth hormonal levels seems like a life saving strategy. I believe we should all live our fullest, strongest lives and then check out - rather than start "aiming at the pine box" 20 years before.
You?
In Strength,
Shawn
